VMware to Proxmox Migration Engineer

You will prepare and execute infrastructure and virtual machine migrations, primarily from VMware to Proxmox VE, from technical inventory through production stabilisation.

Your responsibilities

Qualify VMs, dependencies, networks, storage and application constraints
Prepare mappings, tools, runbooks and migration plans
Execute V2V migration waves with testing and rollback
Troubleshoot incidents during pilots and production cutovers
Document results and support client teams

Your background

Hands-on experience migrating VMs in production
Strong VMware vSphere, Proxmox VE, Linux and KVM/QEMU skills
Good networking, storage, backup and automation foundations
A rigorous approach to testing, service continuity and rollback
Autonomy, direct communication and professional French

VMware / Proxmox Infrastructure Architect

You will design target architectures and lead technical decisions for VMware to Proxmox transformation projects, from initial assessment through production validation.

Your responsibilities

Assess vSphere, vCenter, ESXi environments and their dependencies
Design Proxmox VE, HA, Ceph, SAN, PBS and DR architectures
Define sizing, network segmentation and storage strategy
Arbitrate risks, migration paths and GO/NO-GO criteria
Produce and validate HLDs, LLDs, architecture packs and runbooks

Your background

VMware and Proxmox architecture experience in critical environments
Strong networking, storage, high availability, backup and DR skills
Ability to challenge requirements and make trade-offs explicit
Excellent documentation and communication with technical teams and CIOs
Autonomy, pragmatism and professional French

Share examples of architectures you have designed, arbitrated and supported through production.
